Adam Thompson, DO, is board-certified and fellowship-trained in Sports Medicine, practicing at A+ Athlete Sports Medicine. With two office locations in Robbinsville (Mercer county) and Neptune (Monmouth), New Jersey, Dr. Thompson spends most of his time seeing patients at the Robbinsville location
Dr. Thompson trained at the Crozer Keystone Healthplex Sports Medicine Institute. During his family medicine residency at suburban Philadelphia's Crozer Keystone Health System, he acquired tremendous experience caring for athletes from local schools, weekend warriors doing marathons and triathlons, and higher level athletes at nearby Olympic Training Sites thru Healthplex Sports Medicine Institute & the professional soccer team the Philadelphia Union. Dr. Thompson enjoys passing on his knowledge and experience teaching students at many different levels - high school, college, medical students, residents as well. He is a graduate of University of Delaware as an Exercise Physiology / Biology major and of Rowan Virtua School of Osteopathic Medicine & has expertise in Osteopathic Manual Medicine Treatment (OMM / OMT). He also maintains medical hospital staff privileges at RWJBarnabas - Robert Wood Johnson Hamilton, Penn Health - Princeton Medical Center. He serves on the Medical Advisory Panels for the joint ventures between the hospitals/fitness & wellness centers regarding programs related to health and wellness for RWJ Hamilton.
Dr. Thompson lives with his wife and two daughters nearby in South Jersey, and was born and raised in Burlington County. He enjoys tennis, going on family outings, traveling, and watching Philly sports.
